At Hillcrest, we seek to provide followers of Christ with opportunities to grow in their faith, serve the church body, and reach others with the Gospel. You will find dynamic Sunday School classes, Bible studies, and discipleship groups to help you grow as a believer. Come grow with us!
Education & Outreach
Don’t forget: We Spring Forward with the time change this Sunday, so set your clocks ahead 1 hour (unless your clocks set themselves) and be here at 9:15.
THE DAY IS FINALLY HERE!!
Join us this Sunday, March 14, as we relaunch our Sunday morning schedule. All Sunday School classes will meet at 9:15 a.m. and we will have corporate worship at 10:30. We are so excited to be back together.
If you have not been a part of our Sunday School Ministry before, this is a great time to join. We will have people at each entrance that have a list of classes and where they meet and they will be happy to direct you.
Remember teachers, be in your room by 9 a.m. to welcome everyone back.
Guests and Hillcrest family – First, guests are always welcome! If any of you were not attending Sunday School before covid, now is a great time to join a class. Contact our church office for information.
For those of you who have been faithful attenders, these next few weeks would be a good time to invite someone from your class that you’ve not seen in a while, even pre-covid. Call Kathy in the office and she can give you some information to get in touch with some of your absent classmates.
Join us March 21 for a special video
Sara Bell, the Executive Director of First Choice Center for Women, is preparing a brief video to update you on their current ministry efforts. Hillcrest has been partnering with First Choice for quite sometime and we have several church members that volunteer there. Don’t miss this chance to hear Sara talk about one of our Acts 1:8 “Jerusalem” partnerships.
A great way to stay current on what’s happening in missions is through the Hillcrest Facebook page.
For our Hillcrest Family…Are you kind? Do you smile?
If you are, and if you do, as a Hillcrest member you are the perfect candidate to help us welcome each other and our guests on Sundays and other special meeting times. We are building up our welcome team and if you choose to serve, you would only be needed for about half an hour 4 to 6 times a year.
(By the way, if you aren’t kind and you don’t smile…well, you should.)
